- also very popular and widely used

- looks for traces of Chlamydia DNA in the body

- not as sensitive as NAAT

- looks for Chlamydia antigens in a patient's bodily fluid sample


Rapid Chlamydia test kit


- available in drug stores and health clinics

- can be used at home- enables anyone to conduct the test on their own

- can return test results in about 15 to 20 minutes
