Did you know that there are different types of Hepatitis infections? Nowadays, the most common of them all are Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C, and each one is caused by a virus.
Here are some more information about these common Hepatitis types:
This disease is caused by the Hepatitis A virus. Once it infects a person, it starts to do damage to the liver. The virus exists in the feces or stools of infected individuals, so direct contact with these is dangerous.
This is caused by the Hepatitis B virus. It is also sometimes called as serum hepatitis. It can cause different severe complications such as liver failure, liver cancer, cirrhosis, and even death. It is spread through infected bodily fluids, such as tears, urine, saliva, semen, and blood.
This is probably among the most common Hepatitis varieties. It is caused by the Hepatitis C virus. It can lead to chronic liver disease if not diagnosed and treated right away. It is spread through sharing of contaminated needles/syringer, direct contact with contaminated blood, unprotected sex, and so on.
