Genital Herpes

This STD has two types: Type 1 (triggers cold sores around the mouth) and Type 2 (causes sores to appear in the genital region). Once it infects a person, that person is bound to carry the infection for the rest of his or her life.

Bacterial Vaginosis

This is an infection of the vagina that is caused by some bacteria. Its symptoms include pain when urinating, itchiness in the vagina, whitish discharge from the vagina, and awful-smelling discharge.

Hepatitis B

This is caused by a virus that infects the liver. It does not always cause symptoms, so a lot of people afflicted with it do not immediately know that they have this disease.

Also known as "the clap," gonorrhea is a bacterial STD that is spread through unprotected sex. It triggers different symptoms that include itchiness in the genital regions, pain when urinating, rectal pains, and unusual genital discharge.
